As promised, Your Daily Morning Coupons are here! This time accompanied by 6 tips to help you save some precious cash.
Check it out!
1. Track your money
Budgeting sucks. There is no way to get around it. But anyone with a smartphone has access to dozens of free apps on their market place, dedicated to helping you with the task. TAKE ADVANTAGE.
2. Get Your Credit Score Higher
Now I know this is no easy task but I would consider this a lifelong goal worth working towards. Having a higher FICO score will save you thousands in the long run by not paying such high interest rates. Home, Vehicle, and school loans can eat you alive in the long run and having a higher credit score is worth the effort.
3. If you get a rebate on something, FOLLOW UP!
From what I’ve seen rebates can be up to $100 dollars on stuff and often add up to about 1/3 of what I paid for the product to begin with. It’s worth spending 5 minutes online to get that money back in your pockets. Keep an eye on when the company say’s the check will be there and if it doesn’t show up, FOLLOW UP.
4. Buy Refurbished Electronics!
Don’t let the word refurbished sway you towards paying full price for expensive electronics… These items often come with the same warranty as the brand new items. Shop around and see what options there are.
5. Rewards Cards are Key.
If you shop at stores like Kroger, KingSoopers, Giant Eagle, etc they offer rewards cards which give you access to items on sale all over the store. They require minimal information, usually name, email and phone number will do it.
6. Quit Drinking and Smoking.
This is self explanatory. The cost of a pack of cigarettes or the price of a 6 pack doesn’t seem like much at first but add it up over the course of 10 years and it adds up to TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. Not to mention the long term health effects that go along with both of these “habbits” are extremely expensive even with a good insurance plan. There are tons of resources out there to help you quit if you need it and I implore you to reach out if you need it.
